Father’s day 2021:
Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad— Wade Boggs
Dad has always been a hero, a teacher, a role model in our life who took care of our needs and did everything in his power to give us a life that we could live happily. He taught us to be disciplined, well-mannered, and respectful. He gave us the wings to fly, and he is the man behind our success. Father’s Day is a great time to reflect on how much our dad is meant to us and how much he has done for us. So isn’t it a good time to return the favor?
He may not expect us to do whatever he had done for us, but we can support him by motivating him to make healthy lifestyle choices. We all know that the pandemic has triggered a wave of potential health risks. So let us give him a gift of good health by encouraging him to adopt few diet & lifestyle changes.
Be fit & Make him a Fit Father
I am not saying we should hit the gym. Instead, Spare some time for your father & go for an evening walk with him, and do simple workouts. It costs no money, takes very little skill, and is a perfect activity for some bonding time with dad. In addition, there are many fitness monitoring devices on the market that can fit almost any budget, which helps keep track of progress and motivate him more.
Drink more water
Drinking water isn’t just about keeping thirst at bay. From body temperature regulation to improving immunity, There are a lot of health benefits that come from downing enough water. But, unfortunately, it isn’t easy to know that he is getting the right amount every day. Make use of these smartphone apps to track his daily water intake for better health.

Health professionals often advise us to “eat the rainbow.” to illustrate the importance of eating colorful fruits and vegetables. We should add fruits and vegetables of different colors every day to his diet. The phytonutrients that give color to fruits & vegetables are linked to higher essential nutrients and health benefits.
Prevention is better than cure. So scheduling regular health screenings is essential. Thought he is eating all the right food & following the proper exercise routine, it is equally important that he is going regular health check-ups and seeks advice from a doctor. Regular screenings help doctors to detect several lifestyles diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and hypertension at early stages.
